The short version: we collect a parent's email address and an optional age range so we can tell you when the club opens. We don't collect anything about children, we don't use tracking cookies, and we never sell data.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address (required), so we can email you when the club opens.
- Your kid's age range (optional): 5 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, or 13 or older.
- The topics you say your kid would enjoy (optional).
- The page you signed up from, and (if you arrived by clicking a link) the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link — so we can tell which pages and campaigns help families find us.
We ask that you confirm you're a parent or guardian before we store anything. We do not collect a child's name, photo, location, voice, or any other information about a child.
What we don't collect
We do not store IP addresses or user agents. We do not use tracking cookies. When you sign up, we remember which page and campaign you came from, but only the site (not the full page or search terms) that referred you. A bot check from Cloudflare Turnstile runs only while you submit the form, and we don't keep the data it processes.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. It is cookieless and does not follow you across the web; we see totals (how many visitors, which pages, roughly where from) rather than who you are. We don't use Google Analytics or any tracking pixels.
How we use it
We use your email address only to send launch news about Smart Kids Club. We use the age range and topic preferences, if you give them, to understand what families want. We don't use any of it for advertising.
Children's privacy
Today the site collects no information about children. Before kid accounts launch, we will follow COPPA (in the US) and apply the principles of GDPR-K and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code: verifiable parental consent first, kids identified by a nickname rather than a real name, and easy deletion.
Your choices
Every email includes an unsubscribe link that removes your address from our list immediately. You can also email hello@smartkidsclub.app to ask us to delete your data, and we will.
